The project was to build a promotional video on one of our successful software solution for the insurance industry. Applying my skills in media writing and design, I contributed to the scripts and created all the icons and the storyboards using Adobe Illustrator.

Upon starting my 1 year bridging course in NTU, I founded Chinese e-newspaper iLand, which is devoted to the SM2 Scholars in NTU. The pages are mostly edited using Photoshop for flexibility. I worked as the Chief Editor and Creative Director for the first 8 issues, which accumulated around 16800 views and more than 180 posts on social media platform QZone (similar to Facebook). I led my team and successfully organised the 3D Printing Roadshow and 3D Metal Printing Seminar in NTU. We helped more than 70 students design and print their personalised 3D models, while at the same time raised around 300 dollars to cover our setup cost.

I organized a video production team with classmates and completed the project in 10 days, leading the storyboarding, video shooting and post-production.

My Studio & Playground | Jun 2014
I envision my future career to be in the field of visual communication and media. One possible name for my own studio would be OXEN ---- many bulls, which means many awesome people/ genius/ geek (working together) in Chinese. Pictures on the left are some of my Photoshop and handicraft artworks.
Mind Map Designer | Mar 2014
To help my high school classmates learn inheritance and mutation better, I designed a 1m by 1.5m pictorials mind map to mimic the game “Plants vs Zombies”. Using the game characters, I illustrated all the relevant concepts. One-third of my classmates participated in its production and the map was eventually exhibited in school.
